Born in Osaka, Japan, Jimmy Nakano earned his Honours degree in Business Administration from Ivey Busines School in 2017 and his Juris Doctor from Western University in 2018. He completed his articles in 2019 and was called to the Ontario Bar shortly thereafter.

Jimmy’s well-rounded education allows him to take a comprehensive approach to law, reviewing problems from both a legal and business standpoint and focusing on practical solutions.

Prior to starting his legal career, Jimmy worked as an analyst and consultant at various firms, specializing in due diligence on legal service organizations. During his legal career, Jimmy worked in legal aid clinics, for the Government of Canada, and at boutique law firms specializing in various areas of law.

Jimmy’s academic background and all-encompassing working experience allows him to practice the law and service his clients with a big-picture approach, ensuring foremost that his clients’ problems are solved.

Tengyi (Kyle) Ma is a Licensed Paralegal at Nakano Law, providing client-centered legal services with a focus on Small Claims Court litigation and civil dispute resolution in Ontario. He is dedicated to delivering practical, efficient, and culturally informed legal solutions to a diverse client base.

Kyle brings prior legal experience from his practice as a lawyer in China, with a focus on civil matters such as contract drafting and review, commercial and personal disputes, as well as wills and estates-related legal matters. Drawing on this background, he is particularly well positioned to assist Chinese clients residing in Canada by helping them understand and navigate legal issues within the Canadian legal framework.

In Ontario, Kyle’s services are provided strictly within the scope of paralegal practice, including Small Claims Court proceedings, contract-related disputes, and Notary Public services, while supporting the firm’s mission of bridging cultures and delivering accessible, high-quality legal services.
